Grand Lodge Mini-Convention May 18-20

The George Washington Lodge will be hosting the Grand Lodge of Virginia's mini-convention from May 18-20 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Manassas. If you want to attend and stay at the hotel, the cost is $105 per night which will include a full buffet breakfast for every morning of your stay. The cost of the events for this weekend is $75 which includes a hospitality room on the evening of May 18th from 5PM - 10PM, a sit down banquet on the 19th and lunch after the Grand Lodge Meeting on the 20th. There is a meal preference sheet that must be returned to the GW Lodge by April 1st. Paul Alligood will have copies with him at the installation brunch, or you can send him an email requesting a copy to palli14145@aol.com.  

There will also be an opportunity to visit the Manassas National Battlefield Park for an extra $3.00 which will include a 45 minute movie about the battles and a one hour walking tour.

The IMA Cafe is a Hibachi-style Japanese restaurant where the cook prepares the food in front of you. The preparation is a show in itself, and adds to the enjoyment of the meal.

GEORGE WASHINGTON LODGE – ITALIAN HERITAGE LODGE

This event takes the place of our regular general membership meeting for March and will be held at the Fort Myer NCO Club (Spates Hall). The social starts at 12:00, brunch is at 12:30, the ceremony begins at 1:45 and concludes at 2:30, and the post social ends at 3:00. The cost is $19.50 per person and includes tax, gratuity. See newsletter for menu and directions. Don't forget your photo ID - Required for entry to Ft. Myers.
