  Otani Japanese Steak and Seafood

"Flames, Comedy and Banter are all part of the experience at Otani.  The chefs prepare the food in front of your eyes while you dine around Japanese Hibachi-style tables.  Flames shoot up to the sky and cooking utensils beat up a musical rhythm as the chef ricochets shrimp tails in their 12 inch hats. And of course there is the food... the delicious smell and sound of the sizzle.  It is a pleasure for many of the senses." - Only $8.95, plus tax and tip

Just a friendly get together.  No lodge business discussed.
Everyone invited.

September General Meeting

Our September general membership meeting will feature a guest speaker from the The Constantino Brumidi Society, who will help us appreciate even more the famous Italian immigrant who painted scores of frescoes in the United States Capitol, in addition to the incredible, "The Apotheosis of George Washington," which appears in the Capitol dome in the Rotunda.  The presentation will be timely, for it has only been a few weeks since President Bush signed the Congressional Gold Medal Bill in his honor.

For more information on Constantino Brumidi, see the link on the Announcements page.  Pictures of his work are breathtaking.

October General Meeting

At our October General Membership meeting we will be entertained by Recording Artist, TV Producer, Donato Soranno.  He is the singer of incredible stage presence who performed at the conclusion of the concert at the Italian embassy last month, which we attended at the kind invitation of the Abruzzo/Molise Heritage Society.  We are very fortunate to be located so near other similar organizations with whom we can share resources
